![]() ![]() Following various specialist manufacturers being appointed, Lenco International's involvement continued, this time to oversee the fitting of new signs. From the massive gantry-mounted panels and flexible-face signs, through several complementary directional sign systems for on-board and on-shore locations - and down to the smallest of 'Crew Only' notices - some 8,000 signs were replaced with Lenco International designs. However, soon after the completion of that project, Stena Line took a majority share in the company and decided that it should no longer be Sealink Stena Line, but Stena Sealink Line. So Lenco International started the whole project over again, but this time with a very different brief. Because all the signs were so new, Lenco International was asked to devise a means of overlaying new logos on the signs rather than entirely replace them. With the original design and manufacturing details still warm from the drawing board, Lenco International was able to complete the second re-signing programme precisely on schedule and within a very tight budget, much to the delight of the client. |
